Betsy Bulat Turner joins Meyer White LLP
Betsy Bulat Turner has joined Meyer White's Atlanta office as an associate practicing labor and employment law.
In addition to general employment litigation and employer counseling, Betsy frequently advises clients subject to federal contracting laws and regulations, such as the Davis Bacon Act and the laws enforced by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), regarding compliance, audits, required submissions (such as EEO-1 and VETS-100 Reports), record retention policies, and affirmative action obligations. Betsy also has guided clients through collective bargaining matters, including arbitrations, union organization, labor contract administration, strikes, lock-outs, injunctions, elections and unfair labor practice charges.
Before joining Meyer White, Betsy served as a law clerk to the Honorable E. Clayton Scofield III, Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Georgia and worked in the labor law and employment litigation section of Freeman Mathis & Gary LLP. Betsy received her undergraduate degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the Georgia Institute of Technology with high honors and is a proud cum laude graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a member of the executive board of the GSU Law Review.
