Alumni and Friends
Class of 2009 Gift CampaignDear Classmates, It is hard to believe but in six months, we will become the 26th graduating class of Georgia State University College of Law. Upon graduation, we will join over 3,800 Georgia State law graduates who attribute their success in large part to the great legal education they received at the College of Law; and who have been generous in their financial support of the law school. This financial support enables the college to strengthen the reputation and value of a GSU law degree. So as we prepare to transition from students to alumni, we ask you to begin your support for the College of Law by participating in the Class of 2009 Class Gift Campaign. We are excited to announce that contributions for this year's class gift campaign will be designated to the Class Gift Scholarship Fund. This student supported, student assisted fund will provide both an immediate financial support to a deserving law student from the entering Class of 2012 while also retaining a percentage of the gift to build the fund as an endowed scholarship (a fund that will exist in perpetuity) that, with the support of future class gift campaigns will grow over time to support multiple students per year. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 and importantly, to collect 100% participation from our class. Remember, every contribution, regardless of size, will be accepted and very much appreciated. If you contribute to this campaign, you will receive:
